The Art Bus Directors
Artists and sisters Claire and Miranda grew up in the arts community of St Ives, Cornwall, UK.
Miranda is a practicing artist with a visual arts degree from UniSA majoring in photography and sculpture. She is a qualified teacher with extensive experience in the community sector developing and implementing art workshops for people of all ages. For many years she was based in France and worked with internationally touring theatre company Footsbarn. She has photographed for arts organisations, film and theatre productions and government agencies in Australia and Europe.
Claire combines anthropology, arts practice and documentary screen production with broad experience in the disability
sector. Documentary producer credits include 'What the Future Sounded Like' (dir Matt Bate), Muriel Matters! (dir Sonia Bible) and associate producer on feature doc 'Love Lust and Lies' (dir Gillian Armstrong). She is completing a PhD in Anthropology at the University of Adelaide.
Miranda and Claire combine their practices and collaborate with artists and the community. Recent projects have included visual artists Helen Fuller, Mark Valenzuela, Angelica Harris-Faull, musician Gabriella Smart and artist and performer Julianne Pierce.
